DMC is ready for Package 5 in the third turn aroud of Dung Quat Refinery

The third turn aroud of Dung Quat Refinery of Dung Quat Refinery will officially take place from 5/6/2017 to 26/07/2017 including the time for this factory to stop operating and restarting. This maintenance phase is divided into 7 packages with about 6,000 tasks assigned for 7 contractors. Drilling Mud Corporation is one of few Vietnamese contractors attending this project with the role of a main contractor for one of these packages – Package 5.

Accordingly, DMC will take responsibility for conducting segments such as: painting 4,500 m² seawater pipeline; cleaning RO, DO tanks and other pipelines on the spot; cleaning two spherical tanks, repairing mechanical segments belonging to product output pipeline; removing, installing and maintaining seawater pipelines.
With a huge amount of tasks, short working time (in fact, there are just 39 days) as well as strict requirements on progress, the preparation tasks from task documents to human resources, engines, equipment were immediately carried out after Tet Holiday by DMC.
Up to now, DMC has been basically completed 90% of tasks for preparation phase. The Corporation is checking, completing the process & solution profile for each task; preparing about 500 staffs well trained about both safety and professional work, mobilizing modern mechanical system and equipment to ensure the best completion of this package.
DMC has prepared adequately human resources and materials to implement tasks well and carry out successfully the third turn around of  Dung Quat Refinery.
