DMC-ITS: Affirming the role of supplying industrial technical services for Nghi Son Oil Refinery

Nghi Son Oil Refinery Project deployed at Nghi Son economic zone of Thanh Hoa Province is one of national key projects. This project has been constructed since October 2013 with the aim of guaranteeing national energy security. As one of the first Vietnamese contractors participating in this project, Branch of DMC – Industrial Technical Services has provided high – quality cleaning, environmental treatment and scaffolding services. With its experience and capacity accumulated through many projects, DMC–ITS has completed its roles well and been highly evaluated by JGCS Consortium–main contractor EPC.
The first project of DMC–ITS was related to environmental treatment field. It was the project of constructing a wastewater treatment plant (WWT) with the capacity of 810 m³/ day and night. The function of this plant was to treat all the wastewater from toilets on site and office zones of the investor NSRP, general contractor JGSC and subcontractors. After completing WWT, DMC–ITS was highly evaluated by partners and assigned to supply and operate the on-site toilet system until acceptance stage of the plant. After 40 months, DMC–ITS provided nearly 100 container toilets with the height of 20 – 40 feet which metthe demand of customers even in the peak period with over 30,000 people. This project brought back 150 billion VND for DMC.
From the success of the first project, DMC–ITS has signed other water treatment projects such as constructing and operating effluenttreatment plant (ETP) for the acceptance stage of the plant with the capacity of 500 m³/day and night. Accordingly, DMC–ITS will take responsibility for wastewater treatment of the plant in the trial period scheduled to the end of June 2017; the project of constructing and operating wastewater treatment plant after checking the hydraulic of seawater pipeline system with the treated wastewater amount of 35,000 m³ from August 2016 to December 2016.
 

Besides, cleaning service sector has also remarked DMC–ITS’s great efforts when this branch attended successfully international package on cleaning with chemical and pipeline washing with oil project with the revenue of over 70 billion VND. This project has been implemented from July 2016 and expected to finish in June 2017. In this project, DMC – ITS has been responsible for cleaning about30 equipment clusters by chemicals and washing about 26 equipment clusters and pipeline systems by oil. In addition, DMC–ITS has been undertaking the cleaning task for oil tanks, implementing the drainage for nearly 6 kilometers of AOC and surface sewer pipes by high pressure squirts.
 

Not only has DMC–ITS provided inherent servicesbut DMC has seized the chance of supplying other kinds of service for General Contractor JGCS and been highly evaluated as well by its agility and actively research for new kinds of service. Within these new projects, we should mention the package of supplying and installing scaffoldings for the constructing process of the plant from February 2015 to April 2017 with the installed scaffolding amount of 258,000 m². The revenue was about 280 billion VND.

During the implementing process of supplying service for Nghi Son “large construction site”, in addition with ensuring the quality and progress of projects, DMC–ITS is one of contractors guaranteeing well labor safety, not letting any incidents about labor safety happen. On March 31^st 2017, JGSC Consortium awarded certificate of 1,810,374 hours of safe work for DMC.
Up to now, DMC–ITS has signed and implemented 10 packages and 60 contracts as well as contract appendixes for Nghi Son Oil Refinery Project, which has increased the total value of contract signed with General Contractor JGCS up to 600 billion VND. This has not been a huge number but it has contributed to affirm the brand of DMC–ITS in particular and DMC in general on service fields in which the core fields are cleaning and environmental treatment; expanded the opportunities to develop other industrial services.
