Maximizing strengths to develop and improve the field of supplying technical services such as cleaning & environmental treatment, anti-corrosion, etc for projects of Petroleum industry and other industries; expanding markets, professionalizing the business activities; increasing the categories of new products; enhancing the export of Barite; developing and completing new products/ services such as OWC cement, Protrol engineering fluid system to apply them into practice are key missions that PetroVietnam Drilling Mud Corporation set out for the second quarter of 2017.
Maximizing strengths to develop and improve the field of supplying technical services such as cleaning & environmental treatment, anti-corrosion, etc for projects of Petroleum industry and other industries; expanding markets, professionalizing the business activities; increasing the categories of new products; enhancing the export of Barite; developing and completing new products/ services such as OWC cement, Protrol engineering fluid system to apply them into practice are key missions that PetroVietnam Drilling Mud Corporation set out for the second quarter of 2017.
Therefore, DMC Corporation are taking a great attempt to promote the field of supplying technical services for other industries, enhance the business market of products, offer specific solutions for each field.
For the field of supplying technical services, the field of drilling fluids services is heavily impacted by the decrease of oil price. According to the general plan of the corporation, the total number of drilling wells will continue to decrease. Maintaining market share of drilling fluids in the country will be under great pressure because foreign service companies are willing to devalue the market price in order to set foot into Vietnam and seek new markets in the context of having a bid redundancy of service capacity. Therefore, DMC promotes the completion of new fluid systems decreasing the price of supplying drilling fluid services, which will maintain the market share of supplying the service in Vietnam.
Therefore, DMC Corporation are taking a great attempt to promote the field of supplying technical services for other industries, enhance the business market of products, offer specific solutions for each field.

High-qualified Scaffolding Services
Although technical services is a new field, it brings stable revenue in recent period. DMC Corporation will focus on expanding and developing technical services including mechanical cleaning service, chemical cleaning service, anti-corrosion service, environmental service. Moreover, DMC Corporation will focus on conducting service contracts transferred from 2016 to 2017 with customers of Nghi Son Refinery and Petrochemicals Project; Dung Quat Refinery Project and VSP; simultaneously follow all the information about bidding packages/ projects related to cleaning services and environmental treatment for Petroleum industry as well as approach customers from other industries. And DMC Corporation has signed some new service contracts.
For manufacturing activity, most of DMC’s products are served for oil and gas drilling industry. Therefore, that contractors stop/ extend drilling activities affected directly on these items’ manufacture. It is estimated thatthe consumption of these products in 2017 has still had no positive signs, so the extension of DMC’s production output is very difficult. To deal with that problem, DMC has come up with comprehensive solutions including maximizing manufacturing capacity, studying new products which meetthe other requirements of the petroleum industry’s market and other industries’ one; researching, completing the preparation for the investment of new products’ manufacturing projects which bring economic efficiency and solve employment problems for labors (CaCO3, Petroleum Catalysts, CA/EDC/VCM …), seeking for new projects in the contextthat petroleum projects have encountered many difficulties that can be extended.
For business, DMC has come up with the solution which is to constantly build up and develop supplier system of prestige, quality and competitive price; diversify the sources of goods and the fields of goods; incorporate tightly the information gathering and market research to expand the foreign and domestic markets, and the markets of petroleum industry and other industries; seeking for new products to expand the business market.
By the specific key missions, combining with comprehensive solution system and great effort of all the staffs, DMC Corporation will complete all planned targets of the second quarter.
