Bentonite API DMC®

Bentonite API DMC® is a clay composed mainly of montmorillonite mineral, in the form of pale yellow powder. This product meets API Spec13A for oil and gas drilling and can be used for bored pile drilling, civil construction, groundwater as well as geological drilling.

Application

Bentonite API DMC® is commonly used as an agent to increase the viscosity and reduce the fluid loss of drilling fluids. The product yields maximum efficiency in fresh water to form a slurry. To be used in brineor high salt concentration water, the product needs to be pre-hydrated.

Environmental hazard and safety

Bentonite API DMC® is non-toxic and harmless to marine environments. Personal protectiveequipment(apron, mask, gloves, eye protection glasses) isrequired when handling this product.

Packing and storage

- Bentonite API DMC® is packed in 50 kg or 1000 kg sacks.
- To be stored in dry and cool places.
